When i was child, savoury oatmeal has been something I’d much more frequently ate than its sweet-counterpart. Everybody in my family loved it, and that I couldn’t pass with a soothing bowl of porridge on a chilly in wintry-day.
But now it’s not as cold as before. But however I still start the majority of my days with a bowl of porridge. Oftentimes I opt for sweet. However, more and more longer, I have begun incorporating a savoury twist to actually take the comfy aspect to the next level.

The spice combo of , cumin, turmenic, and garlic-powder can make the kitchen smell out of amazing this world.

Vegan Savoury Oatmeal With Zucchini And Black Beans
- Non stick saucepan
- 1 tsp garlic-granules
- 1/2 medium zucchini grated
- 1 cup gluten-free oats
- 2.5 cups water
- 1 garlic crushed
- 2 cups spinach
- 1/2 cup black-beans cooked
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sweetcorn
- cherry-tomatoes halved
- 2 tbsp soy-yoghurt
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 1/2 avocado
- First, add the garlic into a non-stick skillet, then sauté for about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Next, add the oats, water and zucchini. Simmer for 5 minutes over a moderate-heat, keep stirring.
- Then, stir-in the black-beans, sweetcorn, turmeric, cumin, garlic-powder and salt. Stir for abbout 2 minutes,.
- Then add the spinach wait until it wilts.
- After it wilts, you can serve it.
- Add cherry, cherry tomatoes, soy milk, tahini and chives for the garnish.
- enjoy it.
